What safeguarding means for an amateur sports association
For an amateur sports association, safeguarding is the set of principles, rules and procedures adopted to prevent and combat abuse, violence, harassment and discrimination. It means promoting an environment where everyone can practise sport while feeling welcome, respected and protected.
This commitment concerns everyone, with particular care for minors: we aim to protect their dignity, wellbeing and peace of mind by promoting proper conduct and clear reporting channels.
